Ash arrives in the Sinnoh region, but is seperated from Pikachu by Team Rocket. He meets up with Brock(again...) and continues to look for it with Brock's help. Somewhere a few miles away, Pikachu is saved by Dawn, a new trainer who also becomes a coordinator later on. (The first episode of the series revolved around Dawn, with a five-minute scene with Ash towards the end. Ash and Dawn meet each other and Ash meets Paul, a trainer who soon becomes his next rival. Dawn becomes a coordinator, following in her mother's footsteps, and the group journey's through Sinnoh together. Ash is collecting Gym Badges, and Dawn is collecting ribbons. Ash occasionally does contests for fun.

-This is the current series of Pokemon, now in the 12th season. -Team Rocket is STILL following Ash around. -Ash is a teenager in this series. -This series revolves around Dawn as much as Ash, instead of being centered on him.
